This week clubrugby.com.au welcomes one of the game's most passionate and determined players in Adam Freier to the microphone. The man they call 'Hass' is poised to return from a series of injury setbacks in 2009 as Randwick make a strong play for the title. Freier was hoping to play for the Wicks in second grade this week but after we recorded the show he announced he wasn't quite right. He has some strong thoughts on club rugby, the Wallabies and all things rugby. His close friend Morgan Turinui reports in from Brisbane about the Queensland Premier Rugby Competition and also updates us on baby Darci, child number three. This week clubrugby.com.au looks inside the engine room of the Easts Beasts.Assistant and forwards coach Jason Aldwinckle is our special guest on the podcast. Head coach Brian Melrose joins the panel fresh from a solid win over early pace-setters Gordon at Chatswood 27-17. We went west last week now we head even further west this week as we catch up with Penrith Emus head coach Jarred Hodges. Hodges and the Emus pulled off a massive upset last weekend when they downed Northern Suburbs at Nepean Rugby Park. Hodges is also the coach of the Prairiewood High School XV who made big news last year as they battled for funds to make a trip to Japan where they were invited to play in the Sanix World Rugby Youth Invitational Tournament. We go through all the games as usual and cross to Morgan Turinui in Queensland. It's your grassroots fix --- don't miss it.

This is a great episode to launch our new site.Wallaby and league legend Andrew Leeds talks about Parramatta’s massive upset against Warringah in round 8.It’s a wonderful insight into a club fighting for survival off the field as well as on it.After losing funding from the Parramatta Leagues Club, the Two Blues are surviving on the goodwill of players, coaches, supporters, friends and family.Leeds is an iconic sporting hero from the area and together with his good mates Ian Hollins and Matt Campton.Morgan Turinui also joins us from Queensland to go through round 7 of Queensland Premier Rugby.

Derby weekend produced some epic struggles as we honoured our service men and women on ANZAC Day. The biggest boilover came at Forshaw Rugby Park where the Southern Districts Rebels broke through for their first win against Sydney University 33-21. RuggaMatrix Club Rugby had the pleasure of speaking to Rebels Head Coach Tim Rapp. Rapp talks about the belief in the team and answers the tough questions about recruitment. Well this is the episode the tech gods did not want us to post! Monday night we lost an enitre show due to a transfer glitch from the recording media to the editing computer. Then last night we had to battle against some hairy Skype moments and intermittent recording of the panel.
