This week we look at Eastern Suburbs and speak with their impressive scrumhalf Brendan McKibbin. The Beasts denied Manly at the Villiage Green last weekend as they press for a spot in the top two. We also discuss Randwick's form slump and cast an eye across the Qld Premier Competition which Brendan knows all about.  

It's been a high standard this year and one of the reasons for that is the amount of Test players making their way back to club rugby. Today Lachie Turner from the high flying Eastwood club is our special guest. The Woodies have a big game this weekend against the Marlins and it's pretty hard to contain Sean Maloney. Lachie also opens up about life on the edge of Wallaby selection.

The legend himself, Phil Blake, is our special guest for show 043 of clubrugby.com.au. The Marlins are flying high on the top of the Shute Shield table and it's thanks mainly to their courageous coach. We also cover Penrith's amazing win over previous frontrunners Southern Districts. The panel also briefly discusses the future of club rugby in the wake of one of the best seasons we've seen in years.

We're half way through the Tooheys New Shute Shield home and away season and this week we check in with the Rats. Sam Harris, one of the best blokes in the game, is our special guest in show 041. Warringah had started to turn the corner just in time and Sam tells us how they've done it.

Easts head coach Lachie Fear is our special guest this week. Only two games to review this week with the Beasts losing to a fired up Warringah and the Students downing the Marlins in a controversial finish at Manly Oval.

It's a massive show this week with Tom Carter and Ben Seymour on to preview the Students v Marlins match.

The mighty Pirates are back on track after dowing Randwick at Concord and joining us this week on the show is Rory Sidey. A Waratahs squad member and former Newport Gwent Dragons back talks about the return to form of West Harbour and his time in the northern hemisphere. We look at all the games from round 8 and look ahead to round 9 and ask the question; who can stop Southern Districts? We also find out some breaking news on Mark Cashman's pet fish. We've got it all!

Eastwood coach Brian 'Billy' Melrose is our guest this week. The Woodies mentor is heading to Irish provence Connacht in a few weeks but still has plenty of work to do at TG Millner before he leaves. We talk about the change over at Eastwood and the competition as it stands seven rounds in.

Today we hear from Warringah's captain former England International Michael Lipman. Born in England but raised in Australia Michael is also hoping to snare a contract with the Melbourne Rebels. He's a straight shooter who is far from happy with the state of Warringah's game and position on the Tooheys New Shute Shield table.  

The human tank, Nemani Nadolo, is our special guest this week to talk about the on fire Marlins. He's been electric for Manly as the join front runners Southern Districts at the top of the table. So why is the big man unsigned for next season?

Norths are on fire in the Tooheys New Shute Shield 2010 and today we welcome their captain and front row gladiator Nick Lah to our show. Sean Maloney gets the night off (we'll explain on the show) and we review round three and look ahead to round four. We also look in detail at the table after three round looking at early trends. It's a different looking ladder and it's good to see.

It's our finals preview with special guest Tom Carter from Sydney University. The hard running centre played his 100th game for the mighty Students last weekend and what a game that was ... 81-7 victory over Eastwood. The final 6 has been decided and while Sydney University and Randwick get this weekend off, on Saturday Gordon plays Warringah and on Sunday Manly plays Eastwood. We also cross to Morgan Turinui as the Qld premier rugby competition heads into its second week of the playoffs.
