Walking In Truth

A major percentage of the Bible is made up of prophecy and it's fulfillment. This is why it's so important that we study prophecy and look in current events for them to come to pass. As Pastor Johnny continues his teaching series, he'll be encouraging us to be students of the Word, and to understand End Time prophecies because it causes us to live a more holy life. The fruit that comes from anticipation of the Lords return is always a pure life. We should be preparing ourselves to meet the Lord face to face.

As Pastor Johnny continues his teaching series on the rapture of the Church, he'll be explaining how the End Times will unfold and what our role to play as Christians will be. The Lord will rapture us right before the Tribulation period and the wrath of the Lamb is poured out on the Earth. The Anti-Christ will appear on the scene and bring a period of peace to the Middle East. It's interesting how all the focus is on Israel from the beginning of time to now. Almost every nation is interested in Israel having a peace treaty with their surrounding Muslim neighbors!

As Pastor Johnny continues his teaching series through the book of 1 Thessalonians, he'll be explaining to us the doctrine of the rapture and the tribulation period. The Bible say's that the world will be filled with extreme wickedness and the Lord will rapture His church to be with Him in Heaven, and at that point the tribulation period will begin. The wrath of the Lamb will be poured out on those that were left to dwell on the Earth, and His Bride will be saved.

The Second Coming of Jesus is one of the most talked about doctrinal topics in the Bible. There are many verses that speak of the First Coming of Jesus, and those prophecies were fulfilled. The Bible speaks way more about the Second Coming, there are double the amount of verses that talk about this doctrine, so we know for sure that's coming to pass as well. As Pastor Johnny continues his teaching through 1 Thessalonians, he'll be encouraging us to not lose heart in doing good, because Jesus is coming again!

If Jesus were to return today, what would He find you doing? Would you be about the Lords business, or would you be found simply serving yourself? Today Pastor Johnny will be exhorting us to live everyday as though Jesus could return imminently. The early church believed in the imminent return of Jesus, and because of this belief they lived their lives pure and with boldness. One of the biggest tactics of the enemy is to get Christians to believe they have more time before the return of the Lord.

The Thessalonian Church was dismayed by not comprehending the Second Coming of Christ, and what that meant for their loved ones that already passed away. Today, Pastor Johnny will be reminding us that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, and that the moment a Christian passes away, they immediately go before the Lord in Heaven. There have been many false teachings regarding the process of a believers death such as purgatory. This teaching is heretical and not found in the Bible.

Counter to today's culture, let your word be enough. Today you learn from Pastor Johnny's message, that a Believer should never have to swear they're telling the truth. As a follower of Jesus, you are called to be a man or woman of your word. Let your yes be a yes, and your no is a no. You shouldn't have to say “I swear” to anything. Your word itself should be enough. Pastor Johnny reminds you, that this is another way for you to shine Christ's light in the world, by being a person of your word.

Are you walking in disobedience to the Lord? In today's message from Pastor Johnny, he encourages you to walk faithfully with the Lord. Sometimes God will allow certain things to happen in your life, to get your attention. God will chastise you, in hopes that you will turn to Him in repentance. Pastor Johnny encourages you, to not wait to turn back to the Lord. Whatever area in your life that God is calling you to be obedient, listen to Him. Walk-in step with the Lord, and be led to a fruitful life.

Are you worried about provision for the future? As you listen to today's message from Pastor Johnny, he reminds you of your worth to God. If God is faithful to take care of the birds, He is faithful to take care of you. God desires that you seek first His Kingdom. Don't worry about your life. Pastor Johnny teaches you, that God has promised to supply your needs of food, clothing, and shelter. Take all of your cares to Jesus. The Enemy comes to destroy, but Christ has come so that you may have life abundantly!

Do you feel weighted down by the cares of this world? Today, Pastor Johnny teaches you to hold loosely the things of this world. Don't get discouraged by possessions, jobs, and bank accounts. Seek first the Kingdom of God. Pastor Johnny teaches you, that Jesus is coming back soon. All of these cares grow dim in the light of Christ's glory and grace. Fix your eyes on Jesus. The One who is the Light of the world, the Bread of Life, and who gives rest for your soul! He promises to supply for all of your needs!
