Walking In Truth

To serve the Lord, all you need to do is acknowledge Him and ask Him to do His works through you. Today, Pastor Johnny encourages you to be a servant . He challenges you to take time from your busy schedule and to use it to serve God’s Kingdom. Make yourself available to others in your church. Find ways to serve and bless them. Think on who Jesus is and what He's done for you and allow Him to inspire you. Though it may come at a cost of time and money the return in blessings will be two- fold.

Are you accomplishing the works that God has asked you to, or are you only concerned with fulfilling the jobs that you consider “successful”? Pastor Johnny reminds you today that God has a purpose for your life. Pursuing that purpose will bring you closer to God, provide you with fulfillment, and it will contribute to the Kingdom of Jesus. Don't allow yourself to sway from God’s Will. Find His desires for your life and ask the Holy Spirit to provide you with the strength to achieve them. Live the life you were created to live.

Has your faith in Jesus brought out the mockers? Maybe people at work have made fun of your “goody- two- shoes” ways or perhaps family members look down on your beliefs. Be a light to His Kingdom and with time, you'll find that many of the mockers will seek out your guidance. When hard times hit them, they'll remember that you offered hope.

Drugs, unholy sex, and meditation are all things that people purposely or accidentally have used to bring demons into their lives. As a Christian, you're protected, but also a target for the possessed. Others will be angered by your relationship with Jesus. They'll be insulted by the idea that they're destined for hell and you're not. Instead, be kind, gracious, and loving to them. Be a positive light in their life and when the day comes when they ask about your kindness, tell them it's because of Jesus. Then, through you, they'll come to understand His goodness.

It's good to place focus on the important things in life. Your job, family, and friends should be acknowledged and pursued, but you mustn't bury God under those things. Set aside time for Jesus and allow Him to be the One who decides your priorities for all other things. Do this and you'll find a peace in life that many search for but cannot find.

At the end of the day, a seed can only flourish if it's planted in rich soil. Seeds placed into piles of dust will simply be blown away. Nonetheless, you are to try to be a light for Gods Kingdom. Be sure to keep your heart rich and accommodating to Jesus and don't allow yourself to be discouraged by those who don't believe in Him.

What is your motive to go to Church? Are you there to see your friends and hear the worship band, or are you there to connect with God? Pastor Johnny reminds you today what Church is for. He encourages you to know that Jesus is the priority of Church and as such, to act accordingly when you go there. Go to Church hungry for Jesus and His Word. Help your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ keep their hearts in the right place. Contribute to your church and help make it a Christ -centered congregation.

It's important to understand the magnitude of your sin. Take the time to examine the things in your life that are questionable or outright wrong and define why they are so. Do this so that you can fully understand the value of Jesus' influence in your life. Today, Pastor Johnny warns you against thinking that your sin's not so bad. He reminds you that Jesus is the measuring stick that you must measure yourself to. He alone should be the One who defines good to you and as such, you should realize how far you stray from Him.

We’re reminded that you have no idea what is running through someone’s head and you have no idea what circumstances brought them to where they are. Regardless, you are to treat others with kindness and leave the judgment to God – who knows the heart. Don’t condemn someone when you know nothing of their character.
