Have you ever heard the phrase "Christians are all hypocrites”? Research shows that more and more people are leaving the church or refusing to attend because of the actions of those who profess to follow Christ. As we continue our series "What if it's True?”, Pastor Chad will help us tackle the painful truth which Jesus shared about hypocrites and how it applies to US…the church! We will examine the question "What if it's true that Jesus is greater than our perceptions of others?”.

We cannot have love without the freedom to not love. We were created with the ability to choose love and thus with the potential to choose its opposite – evil. What keeps us from choosing GOD? We will explore both our human responsibility and the sovereignty of God. This week, Pastor Tiffa will help us to see what can be drawn from scripture on this subject of “choice.”

In our modern world, humanity is making some huge discoveries and advancements in the arena of science. So much so that many are left wondering what this means for people of faith. Is Science and Faith compatible? Or do they conflict with each other? Are they friends? Or are they foes? This weekend, Pastor Jared will be tackling the narrative and relationship between Science and Faith, as we seek answers to the questions that bar many of us from fully trusting God with our lives! We wrap up our Upside Down Kingdom series this weekend learning what we can do about those who hurt us - specifically those who sexually harass, assault or abuse us. Although this subject has only recently come to light in our society, this is not a new issue. Sexual sin has been around since the beginning of man. Come join us as Pastor Dale shares what Jesus had to say on the matter.

This weekend, Pastor Tiffa will be talking about our enemies and what it takes to transform these enemies into LOVABLE ENEMIES. Who are these people? Who’s your enemy? What enemy is Jesus referring to? “Loving your enemy” is not reserved for just the pastors, the nuns, the super spiritual, the so-called “religious,” the bible college student, Mother Theresa, or martyrs. As Jesus taught about the Kingdom of Heaven, his followers were often left feeling confused because the principals and values he spoke of were so different, so upside down to what they believed to be true. If we are being honest, many of us today would consider Jesus' teachings to be upside down as well. Perhaps this is why we often find ourselves taking two steps forward and three steps back. Join us as Pastor Keane unpacks a short story (also known as a parable) that Jesus shares to help his followers live a life in the Kingdom of Heaven "right-side-up."

When you hear the term “VIP” (very important person), what comes to mind? Maybe you think of getting your hands on a backstage pass at a concert, or courtside seats to a game. But the truth is, being a VIPerson is pretty rare, and it isn’t given to just anyone… It’s usually based on what we have, or who we know, that allows us to have any kind of VIP access. As human beings, we all have a deep need to feel important and valued, but we rarely want to admit it. This weekend, in our Upside Down Kingdom series, Pastor Jared, will be sharing who God’s VIP are in His Kingdom.

Every country, nation, and kingdom has a flag. That flag is a reminder for every citizen of what they stand for and who they are called to be. What would be the flag of the Kingdom of Heaven? We’ll learn more about the Beatitudes Jesus taught and the qualities and characteristics of living a life like Jesus. Join us as Pastor Dawn teaches us that we will be blessed when we hunger and thirst for God’s righteousness. We are continuing in the series the Upside Down Kingdom with “Restoring the Right Side Up.” Jesus began his beautiful and radical Sermon on the Mount with eight beatitudes. Each of these beatitudes build upon the other but the first is the most foundational. Pastor Don will lead us through the first beatitude and highlight the five key words that address two significant questions: “Who am I" and "Who is God?”

We live in a fast-paced world that focuses on end goals, results, and getting to the finish line as fast as possible. We run through life searching for the most convenient and efficient way to quickly reach our destination. When things aren’t moving in the right direction, it’s easy to take control and impose our own will. But what if that isn’t God’s will? For most of us, the destination is more important than the journey. However, for God, the journey is more important than the destination. Join us as Pastor Keane unpacks Jesus’ mountaintop temptation and continues the series, “The Upside Down Kingdom.”

Jesus did not come to inherit or to start a religion but He came to reconnect humanity with Father God and to establish God's Kingdom here on earth. At the center of God’s Kingdom is RELATIONSHIP. It’s relationship with Jesus first and then with others. Weekly visits to church and religious acts is not what makes us worthy of relationship with Jesus yet so often we are prone to being performance-driven and not relationship-driven. Jesus rejected the performance-driven ways of the earthly kingdom. He pursued relationship and wants us to do the same. How would our lives look if we lived the way Jesus intends for those living in the Kingdom of God?

“I’m the Bread-winner in my family!” Have you ever heard someone say that? What they are really saying is that they bring the most money, substance, and security to their family. And because of this, many people in our world today are consumed with the pursuit of “Bread.” And sometimes without even knowing it, we base our personal value and self-esteem on how much we have, and we value others based on how much or little they have. Join us this weekend, as Pastor Jared unpacks Jesus' view of “bread” in Matthew 4 and helps us respond to our world with His upside down kingdom’s perspective!

With the anticipation of a new year often comes the preparation of New Year's resolutions and goals such as getting fit, learning something new, spending less and saving more. Although these are good things, they may not necessarily be what God is asking us to set our eyes on. In 2018, what if the focus is less on you and more on others? And what if it’s less about what God is going to do for us and more about what God is wanting to do through us? Join us as Pastor Keane shares "A New View For A New Year”.
