Tonight at Kaseya Center in Miami, the Heat let the Chicago Bulls come back from a 17-point deficit to beat them 114-109, a loss that puts them 5 games under .500 for the 1st time this year, in 8th place in the Eastern Conference. Josh Giddey scored 26 points to lead the Bulls, including the dagger 3-pointer to put the game in ice and hand the Heat their 4th loss in 5 games. The Heat were winning all 5 in the 4th quarter. Cody White scored 5 huge points down the stretch- 21 for the game- and Zach Collins gave them 18 points and 15 rebounds. Chicago took the lead for good when White’s three-point play with 1:25 remaining made it 110-109. Giddey’s 3-pointer with 17 seconds left padded the lead. The Heat built a 51-35 advantage early in the second quarter but allowed the Bulls to stay within distance after they scored four points in the final 7:13 of the period.
