Perhaps I'll call this unfortunate series, "Oops, I did it again!" Today I want to look at 2 things that the Pope said from his balcony last night: 1. Everyone has the same heavenly father. 2. "Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, have this attitude; and if in anything you have a different attitude, God will reveal that also to you." (Phil 3:15, NASB) So if we have the wrong attitude concerning anything, the Bible says, that "God will reveal it to us." The question is, "How does He do that?" Phil 3:12-14  "Not that I have already obtained, or have already been made perfect; but I press on, if also I may lay hold of that for which I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus.  (13)  Brothers, I do not count myself to have laid hold; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,  (14)  I press toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." "And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:" (Phil 3:9, KJV) The King James Version here says "Faith of Christ," while most other Bible translations read, "Faith in Christ." "More than that I also consider all things to be loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have sustained the loss of all things, and I consider them to be rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ, and be found in Him..." Today on the Gospelstudy podcast, we look at the Apostle Paul, and how he threw it all away, in exchange of the surpassing worth of knowing Jesus Christ! Could you do that? Have you done that? And then he said that he wanted to be "found in Him." That certainly is the best place to be found!
