We've just gone through another Christmas season in which the world was reminded again that God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son; In His love, God offered us the most wonderful gift that we could ever receive. The Bible says that Jesus stands at the door and knocks. I wonder how many have, from time to time, heard the gentle knock of the Savior who wants so much to come in and free all from the burdens of their sin? But they have ignored His knocking. This morning God's invitation is offered to any and all who would accept him and receive him as Lord of their lives. He came as a baby in the manger. But He also came as the Redeemer, and this morning He waits patiently for you.

Jesus was in the wilderness and fasted for 40 days. He was totally surrendered to His fathers will. Have you totally surrendered.

Today it's our choice, will you surrender to the will of God or will you go your own way.

How many times have we quoted—or merely thought about—this simple scripture, yet we focus only on the “today and forever” part?

We are all members of the body of Christ and need to work together to fulfill His purpose.

Daniel is a type of Christ, a godly Bible character who foreshadows the coming Messiah. He is called blameless. In the lions' den miracle, Daniel's trial resembles that of Jesus before Pontius Pilate, and his escape from certain death is like Jesus' resurrection.

In Luke 15 we see the story of the prodigal son and how he was reconciled with his father, you too can find reconciliation with your heavenly father.

The perfect example to ever live was Jesus. What if we truly lived like Jesus.

Our words form our future. We speak negative, we receive negative. God created Heaven & Earth by speaking it. He tells us that if we believe (have FAITH) as the size of a grain of mustard seed, then we can speak to mountains (obstacles) and command them to be moved. Our own “lack of”, is what keeps us from experiencing true FAITH. Watch what you say, you may actually get it!!! Welcome to church. Let’s enjoy our time with our sweet Savior. He is here with us, let’s make it all about Him today!
