Welcome to California Real Estate Finance. This is one of the twelve courses that students can use to meet the third course requirement for a California State Salesperson's License. Additionally, the course helps students prepare for further studies in real estate. This course covers real estate financing: lending policies, and problems; financing transactions in residential, apartment, commercial, and special purpose properties; and methods of financing properties. This course applies towards educational requirements for both a salesperson's or broker's examination.

    This show began with an introduction to Government Loan Programs. The four broad areas of government loan programs e.g. FHA, VA, Cal Vet and other special purpose programs were discussed. The majority of the lecture covered the various FHA home loan programs e.g. 203b, 251, 203k and the role of Mutual Mortgage Insurance. Also, there was a short demonstration of the FHA "Nine steps to buying a home" portion of their web site.
