We chatted with the Gopher Guru Daniel House on the Gophers and see how they have been spending their bye week and the adjustments they can make to defeat the Hawkeyes for the first time in Iowa since 1999. 

Started off this Saturday with Chris Tubbs filling in for Steve Thomson talking NFL, as the Vikings have learned this past week, they will be without wide receiver Justin Jefferson for at least four weeks in what has been already a problematic season - we break down some of the teams you can jump on while the Vikings are dwindling and how the Vikings should handle the rest of this season. Then we talk to David Amitrano of Midwest All-Star Wrestling to preview an amazing event he and his team are putting on alongside Women of the Nations to help raise money against domestic violence and assault.

Big event coming up next month in Saint Paul as Midwest All-Star Wrestling is hosting alongside  Womens for the Nations Grand Slam 5 where 100% of the proceeds will be put towards the victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. We preview the event, the cause and some of the big names being featured on the card.

Tough loss for the Minnesota Twins as they fell in Game 1, 6-4 in Houston.  Steve Thomson in for Henry Lake alongside producer Josh Wheeler bringing you the recap of today’s action. We also took calls and texts from you in response to today’s loss. We mix in a brief look at the college football scoreboard.  Then we play back some of the highlights and preview Game Two tomorrow night in Houston with some of the postgame interviews with players and coaches following today's loss.

Then we talked to Phil Miller who covers the Minnesota Twins for the Star Tribune asking him about what went into the lineups and rotation and talked Byron Buxton and more as we led up to the Twins pregame.

We replayed an interview with Thad Levine, Vice President of Baseball Operations for the Minnesota Twins conducted on DriveTime with DeRusha Friday afternoon and previewed the lineup card for the Minnesota Twins Game One matchup with Houston. We also run through some of the college football scores. We then talked about Gophers-Michigan and the Loons parting ways with Adrian Heath, with Andy Greder, writer for both the Gophers and Loons for the Pioneer Press.

In a shocking announcement this week, the Minnesota United fired their only head coach in franchise history to this point, Adrian Heath so there is a new era ahead for them we asked Pioneer Press beat writer Andy Greder about that and also the Gophers football squad has a huge game against number 2 Michigan tonight at Huntington Bank Stadium, we get his thoughts and preview for that as well.

We started out the show talking with Steve Carney, checking in with him on the outdoor success with the changing weather and get a duck hunting been and the water levels around the lakes. Then we previewed some home hospitality going on this weekend at Target Field as the Twins take the field in Houston today and tomorrow for the ALDS - we talked to Matt Hodson, Director of Business Communications for the Minnesota Twins who previewed that and the ticket availability for the home playoff games next week.

We are diving into the cool down in the outdoors with Steve Carney giving us an update on his hunting ventures, bow hunting and how the waters are looking around the lakes

Ahead of the Twins' tilt in Colorado, Steve catches up with Star Tribune beat writer Bobby Nightengale to chat about the team's preparations for the playoffs.

We start off another hour with more college football updates. We start with Josh Deer recapping Concordia Saint Paul victory over U Mary as well as checking in with Kevin Reid recapping a tough loss from the Bemidji State Beavers to Minnesota State Mankato and Don Stoner checks in to recap the loss to Saint Johns. Jeff Fylling calls in to check in with Augustana defeating South Dakota today as well. Then we check in with Jonathan Lowe for the college football scores around the country. We also get score updates from Bethel and St. Scholastica as well.  We also talk about the Vikings as they take on Carolina tomorrow in Charlotte as they seek their first win of the 2023-24 season.

We begin the show heading outdoors with Steve Carney to see how busy his ventures have been and where he is off to hunt this week. Then we break down the Ryder Cup and the entertainment that has gone along with that this weekend between the U.S. and Europe. Furthermore we jump into the high school scores from Friday night then we break down the many college football score updates both locally and nationally. We also hear from Jeff Papas following a 38-14 win for the UMD Bulldogs over Winona State.

It's another college football Saturday and we jump right into it with score updates from around college football both locally and nationally with Jonathan Lowe. We check in with Tom Fredrick checking in from Sioux Falls after USF defeats Minot State 7-0 then we talk to Kevin Reid who covers Bemidji State as they defeat U Mary in Bismarck 41-10 and Augustana defeating MSU-Moorhead 31-27. We also talk to Ryan Klinkner, he recaps SJU 27-7 win over  Bethel  then finally, we head outdoors with Steve Carney to wrap it up on a Saturday. 

We recap a sluggish Twins team on the heels of a celebratory clinching of the AL Central as they fall to the Angels in a Saturday matinee. Then Jonathan Lowe and Steve Thomas give us the local and national scores in college football. We also check in with Jeff Fylling recapping Augustana's win over MSU-Moorhead. 

After a fun night at Target Field, we recap the clinching moment, when the Twins took the AL Central crown, get Rocco’s thoughts on the clincher, talk with Phil Miller who covers the Twins for the Star Tribune and preview a short-rested Twins-Angels matinee at Target Field with the lineups and gives us some injury updates now that we look ahead a couple weeks to who will be available for the postseason.
