A genuine christian is someone whose love of God is seen in an active desire to demonstrate love to everyone they meet - it means you will constantly fight the temptation to judge others. You will accept that it is your responsibility to always be the one who responds first to the needs of others and take time to open your heart to others irrespective of the persons background, personality or position.

The real emphasis of James 1:19-27 is the danger of self-deception. It is one thing for the Christian to be deceived by Satan, but if you deceive yourself, this is something far more serious. The mark of a mature person, is someone who faces themself honestly, who knows themselves, and admits they needs help. By contrast, the immature person thinks they are rich, self-sufficient, and have no need of anything. James says that this all comes down to your relationship with God and the word of God.

Perseverance in suffering - Be steadfast under trials, because your goal is to be more like Christ and more in love with God. So if that means God testing, humbling and breaking - you will prays ‘Lord, do whatever it takes, and help me to endure’. James 1:2-12

Revelation 21 We are heading for a world in which God will live with us, and we will have direct and unhindered access to him all the time; a world in which his glory will shine on us as the sun does now; a world in which there is no more evil or danger; a world in which there is no more sin or opposition. This is the glorious future which God has prepared for his people, and that includes you if you keep following the Lamb until you enter the incredible city.

You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine. Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance. Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Titus 2:1-3

Revelation 13-18: A society organised without reference to God offers attractive prosperity and power. But it is inspired and driven by the devil himself. We must not be taken in. The reason the Bible doesn’t pull any punches is because this danger is real, serious… and often unseen. Beware! You need to live in the all-surpassing riches of knowing Christ and to seek first His kingdom and righteousness.

Revelation 5 No one else in all of the universe was found worthy to break the seals. Jesus met all of the qualifications. He became flesh, became human, and he lived among us, but he also loves us and was willing to die on cross for us, because he is the sinless son of God, he was able to redeem us.
