The sacred duty of Sat Yogis is to liberate all beings from bondage to the Other, from all karmic debt, and from entanglement in the internalized demands of the superegoic introjection of the Other. The price of freedom is emptiness; but it must be the Ultimate Emptiness, which is revealed after emptying out what is not one’s inalienable nature and essence. This opens the heart and mind to the Fullness, Completion, Glory, and Perfection of the Infinite and Eternal Self of Blissful Light and Power of Immeasurable Intelligence Who is dreaming us all.

In this satsang, Shunyamurti explains the deeper spiritual meaning of the global crises unfolding in our time. What appears outwardly as Armageddon is, for the yogi, an inner battle: the destruction of karma, the surrender of the ego, and the restoration of dharma. As the world moves toward the culmination of Kali Yuga, the real task is not to become absorbed in the chaos of the phenomenal plane but to keep the heart on fire with love for God and remain rooted in the Self.

An exploration of the paradoxical paradigm of presence in impermanence (expressed most pithily by the Sixth Patriarch of Chan) leads into a logical analysis of the levels of consciousness, the relationship of the labyrinthine complexity of the ego with the absolute simplicity of the Self, and the lucidity of soul required to sail to the further shore of nonduality.

In this urgent and sobering teaching, Shunyamurti addresses the accelerating global crisis (escalating war, economic destabilization, and the rising probability of nuclear confrontation) and reveals its deeper spiritual meaning. What appears as geopolitical conflict is also a microcosmic holy war within each of us. The exposure of weakness in global powers mirrors the exposure of weakness in the ego. As external systems destabilize, the fragility of personal identity, false security, and imagined control is likewise revealed. The real holy war must be won in the heart.

We gather in satsang to heal the wounded soul trapped in constructs and a frame of reference built from obsolete projections of the past. Those who have heard the call perform the sacred ritual of sacrificing this fragmented and incoherent consciousness for the boundaryless state of silent presence in resonance with the Real.

Nearly all alive today are massively traumatized. In order to proceed with our advanced practice in aloneness and dealing with separation, we must understand how trauma acts as a catalyst to heal and yet is also the obstacle. Shunyamurti explains its origin, meaning, and structural and dynamic aspects that leave the ego in fear of annihilation. The situation can only be resolved by recognizing how radically we have been cut off from the nature of our Being, remembering the totality of the Self, and returning to our nobility of spirit and real Aryan truths. The soul is saved in surrender to the space of silent awareness, free of ego identification and language. May we know the joy of realization and compensation for the ordeal of this rite of passage into the kingdom of heaven.

We gather for our ritual celebration of Maha Shiva Ratri, the most holy day and symbolic moment of the kalpa. It is the night when the grace of the highest potentiality of consciousness is available to receive if one wants it with all one's heart, mind, and will. Shunyamurti emphasizes the importance of the symbol of the dancing Nataraj and The Forty Verses on Reality by Sri Ramana Maharshi. Though the ego is not willing to surrender its identification with a fictional character, the soul yearns for union with the ultimate Truth, Tat Tvam Asi. Whether one likes it or not, ultimately Thou Art That. If only we use the power of Imagination to know there is no will separate from Shiva to surrender, that is our saving grace.

The Supreme Trickster turns the One into the Many, then delivers the ultimate treat: returning all to Zero. When your mind has been completely emptied of thought and desire, you will be filled with the Uncreated Light and the Divine Nectar of eternal ecstasy. This is the gift of grace signified by Maha Shiva Ratri.

Our souls must understand what the revelation of being ruled by demonic forces is intended by God to teach us. We must not accept the normalization of evil, but neither should we perceive it as outside our own consciousness. The political theater surrounding the scandal of the Epstein files should not obscure the divine imperative with which we are faced as beings dedicated to the service of Supreme Truth, Goodness, and Love.

In this timely teaching, Shunyamurti speaks directly to the escalating global tensions unfolding across nature, geopolitics, and the collective psyche. As environmental upheaval, military confrontation, and systemic instability converge, he frames this moment as a true breakpoint—both for the world and for individual consciousness. We are here to heal what is broken by releasing seemingly inescapable patterns of suffering that have become frozen in time. Because the ego is only the lowest level of a four-tiered consciousness that has become short-circuited, it is possible to heal. Shunya offers an empirical experiment to shift one's paradigm to be free, to see within one's own consciousness the ego’s unreality, and to keep the soul awakened by not entertaining egoic thoughts and instead remaining turned towards the inner light. It will require recognizing that suffering is a blessing of motivation to return home, to remain vulnerable long enough to receive the grace necessary to alchemically transform one's pain into wisdom. This emptying out and surrender are the only true fulfillment in life and our divine right to leap beyond the ego's event horizon to the Absolute Self.

In this divinely mad satsang, Shunyamurti journeys through his interpretation of the Sanskrit words written in Chapters 14 and 15 of the Ashtavakra Samhita. He clarifies the nuances and idiosyncrasies that are missed by other translators, about becoming established in shunyachitta with an empty and sattvic mind. One must let go of all worries about worldly matters, dissociate from the ego, and have a distaste for objects in order to taste divine presence. The joy of expanding into infinite intelligence, potency, and power is available to all but unimaginable to the ego. The choice is yours. Why not abide in stillness now?

Every ego today suffers from an allergy to Truth and Love. If we receive too large a dose of either, the mind becomes inflamed. To overcome this tendency to inflammation, we are offered a radical remedy: high-intensity spiritual practice that neutralizes all our autoimmune reactions. The ten principles of this training program are guaranteed to boggle your mind and free your heart from the constrictions and defensive shell that have kept love out and kept the mind in a miasma of delusion. The paradoxical nature of these principles will completely depotentiate your ego, giving your soul an immediate taste of the eternal delight of ultimate liberation.

The ego structure today is in what Carl Jung called the puer aeternus complex—an unwillingness to grow up and a rejection of the ongoing rites of passage that God offers the soul to complete the coup de grâce needed to let go of its immature relation to reality and obsolete identity. Shunyamurti reads from Chapter 13 of the Ashtavakra Samhita, which comes as close to the ultimate teaching as is possible in written form. The coup de grâce is to give up acceptance, rejection, and the belief that there is a someone to give those up. The only way out is to get to the central nerve of life energy and raise it to receive the full power of presence.

In this teaching, Shunyamurti explores the paradox at the heart of all authentic traditions: Trika’s Netra Tantra calls for “supreme effort,” while other scriptures insist there is no path and no separate one to realize God. Taking us through concepts from Kabbalah, Ramana Maharshi, and Dzogchen, he reveals the synthesis: you are not the seeker in the story but the unmoving screen of pure, total consciousness on which all worlds appear. When this is realized, effort and non-effort collapse into the natural state of the Self.

This teaching clarifies the three-tiered structure of consciousness: the ego-world, the awakened soul, and the Absolute Sat—the all-containing, changeless presence. Shunyamurti explains how freedom is attained not by improving the ego but by realizing that all levels already coexist within the infinite Self. 

This sacred story of giving birth to God can be understood on many levels. The most important for yogis is the level of nonduality, in which the nativity of the God-Self is understood as your own story of realization of your essential nature. This is accomplished through the symbolic replication of the acts of your purified soul, represented by the Virgin Mother (Shakti) bringing to life through divine love the Advent of the uncreated Supreme Self (as Presence in immediacy), and the ecstatic recognition of the Infinite Light pervading the entire cosmos and appearing as the Self of every being. May the grace that grants you the strength to surrender your will to God bring instant rapture and redemption.
