When Jesus rode into Jerusalem some asked "Who is this?" They didn't realize that they had just asked the most important question any of us can answer. Who is Jesus?

Shakespeare said "All's well that ends well." Job's story ends well, even better than well. More important than his restoration is God's work in his life.

After seemingly endless arguments about God, God Himself shows up!

When Job's three friends give up, we hear a new, younger voice weigh in.

Zophar speaks to Job in his anguish. Will he prove to be a better comforter than the others? Not likely!

Bildad, the second of Job's three friends, takes his first shot. He earns the title of Bildad the Brutal!

Eliphaz speaks up to answer Job's cry of pain. Instead of showing sympathy, he defends God against any thought that He might be treating Job unfairly. As a result he hurt Job all the more.

Job breaks the silence with a curse on the day he was born. He expresses the grief, anger and pain he feels from all of his losses. This shows that his relationship with God is genuine.

Job's three friends come to bring him comfort. Even though they will soon become his tormentors, right now they are comforting him with their silent presence, sharing his grief and pain.

The first two chapters of Job give us some valuable insights into Satan and his character.

Job had the second worst day in history (only Jesus on Good Friday had it worse). How he and his friends struggled with his suffering in the light of God's goodness make the Book of Job a very important book of the Bible.

Jesus and His family aren't the only ones to receive gifts from the Wise Men. They give us precious gifts too!
