Tom Kubat, the Hall of Fame sportswriter from the Lafayette Journal and Courier and author of the Tiller Biography “Not Your Average Joe,” is joined by Tom Schott and Jim Vruggink, who worked closely with Tiller from a Purdue athletics communications perspective and broadcaster and co-host Nate Barrett who had several personal and professional interactions with the legendary Purdue coach.

The Walmart executive took time out of his day to share some memories and thoughts of his remarkable career before, during and after his days at Purdue. A native of Memphis, Tennessee, who now lives with his wife and four daughters about 10 miles from Walmart’s headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas, Moore has much to share about his memories of his Purdue experience, where he hailed from 1997-2000 getting significant time at defensive end in the era of Rosevelt Colvin, Chike Okeafor and Shaun Phillips. Moore’s claim to fame as a Boilermaker came while he was on the sidelines moments after quarterback Drew Brees threw his fourth interception in the pivotal game with Ohio State on Oct. 28, 2000. Arni's Birthday Zoom: Jeff Zgonina
24/05/2023 Duración: 13minWe celebrate birthday No. 53 (May 24, 2023) for former Purdue defensive lineman extraordinaire Jeff Zgonina. A star for the Boilermakers from 1989-92, Zgonina was named Big Ten defensive player of the year as a senior in '92, making him one of only two Boilermakers to win the award. Coincidentally, the other to win the award is Ryan Kerrigan (2010), who now is on the Washington Commanders' defensive coaching staff along with Zgonina. The Chicago area native who enjoyed 17 years in the NFL including a Super Bowl title with the Rams and has worked in the league as a player and coach for 25 of the past 33 years, talks about how he got to Purdue, what it is like to work with Kerrigan and his simple philosophy towards the sport he loves.

27/04/2023 Duración: 07minFormer Purdue dual sport athlete Jermaine Ross celebrates his 52nd birthday with us (April 27, 2023). Ross, who was recruited to Purdue on a track scholarship from his hometown of Jeffersonville, Indiana in 1990, walked on the football team under coach Fred Akers and ended up having a four-year career in the NFL with the Los Angeles and St. Louis Rams. Ross, not surprisingly, the fastest player on the team, turned into a big play receiver for for the Boilermakers leading the Big Ten in yards per reception in the 1992 season with a 22.3 average.
