Life Hack: Generosity
23/08/2015Rich or poor, we are all called to be generous with what we have right now. There is something spiritual that happens with every financial decision we make, and each one can either bring us closer to God or farther away. Do you trust Him with what you have today?
-
Life Hack: Thankfulness
16/08/2015God has given us everything we need for a godly life but getting there isn’t automatic. This week we explore how gratitude and thanks can help unlock the riches of the life the Lord wants for us.

Life Hack: Intro
09/08/2015This is the introduction to our series “Life Hack.” Things God has given to us that, when used correctly, will totally change our lives. This week we explore the fact that God has already given us everything we need. We just have to open our eyes and take the risk of applying it.

People Are Awesome!: Focus on the Good
03/08/2015God wants all of us to know how awesome we are, but He counts on us to recognize what is great about our neighbor and to tell them. In this sermon we talk about how the Lord gives us grace to do just that.

People Are Awesome!: Glory & Honor
26/07/2015We don’t have to look very far to see how we are broken and to see how we mess up. But it can be hard to see how we were made, and to understand the Lord’s best for us. Pastor Bob takes a look at Psalm 8 to help us remember that we were made to not just muddle through, but to receive glory and honor from the Lord.

Created For A Purpose: Worship
19/07/2015If someone asked you to describe what worshiping God looks like, some of us might use examples from a Sunday morning church service like singing or raising our hands. But what does worshiping God look like on Monday at work? Or Friday night with friends? The Bible rarely uses music as a description of worship, so then what is it and why were we created to do it?

Created For A Purpose: Making Disciples
12/07/2015The fact that you are living your life with other people is no mistake. Your family, friends, co-workers, classmates, and even strangers are all a part of the community you were created and designed to live in. Since journeying through life with others is such a big part of why we are here, let's do what we can to be intentional with those around us. Share a laugh, a cry, a shoulder, a listening ear, a word of encouragement, a word of advice, a word of truth with someone today, and above all else, do it out of obedience to Christ and to bring glory to God. Our summer intern, Scott Orel, closes the series for us this week.

Created For A Purpose: Hot or Cold
05/07/2015How do you stop people from knocking at the door? Keep it open. Why would you do that? Listen to this week’s podcast.
-
Created For A Purpose: Salt & Light
28/06/2015As Christians sometimes we confuse saying what is right with doing what is right. This week we see some practical teachings from Jesus that help us know the difference.
-
Created For A Purpose: Telos
21/06/2015God has a vision and a plan for your life, and no matter how far you may have wandered away from that plan, or Telos, He has the resources in place to bring you back and see it through to the end. But it requires our obedience along the way.
-
Created For A Purpose: Stewardship
14/06/2015Americans are all about value. We will trample each other for a 50% discount on pretty much anything. God’s idea of value is completely different. And, quite frankly, it’s better.
-
Created For A Purpose: The Gathering
07/06/2015Jesus said that the gates of Hades would not prevail against the church. What exactly is needed for that to happen? Not much, actually. Really just one thing.
-
Conversations: Which one was a neighbor?
24/05/2015What if someone convinced you that you could change your workplace or family or school or or neighborhood for the better? What if it wasn’t really complicated? It’s not.
-
Conversations: Who Told You That You Were Naked?
17/05/2015Whether it's from the media, something we've read, or through a conversation, many of the negative ideas we have about ourselves were told to us by others. The best thing we can do to combat this is turn to God's truths through Bible reading and engagement with people who lift us up.
-
Conversations: Why Do You Worry...?
10/05/2015Sometimes worrying feels like you are accomplishing something. However, just the opposite is true. What would your life look like if you removed worry? Is that even possible?
-
Conversations: Why Are You Angry?
03/05/2015Which is more dangerous, sin crouching at the door or sin chilling on your couch? This week we talk about how anger can fester and grow when we feed and nurture it.
-
Conversations: Who Do You Say I Am?
26/04/2015How do you view God? Studies have shown that the way we think about God may have an influence on how our views and attitude of the world is formed. While our answer may not ever fully describe all that God truly is, it is important that we begin to define, with His guidance, who He is to us and how He wants us to respond to Him.
-
Conversations: Where have you come from and where are you going?
19/04/2015Our direction, not our intention, determines our destination. Is the path you're on going to take you where you need to go?
-
Conversations: How Many Loaves Do You Have?
12/04/2015What would you do with $20,000 more dollars a year? 10 hours more a week? We all have visions with what we could do with more but God has a vision for what we can do with what we have right now.
-
Conversations: Why Do You Look For the Living Among the Dead?
05/04/2015This week we are taking a different approach to our regular podcast, and this episode features a more condensed version of Sunday's message as well as some behind the scenes looks at what goes into creating the sermon. This is the opening message for our new series "Conversations" and we will be discussing why we often search for the life-giving fulfillment of Christ in things that will never satisfy.
