Mariners GM Justin Hollander sat down with Bump & Stacy yesterday where he admitted the offensive struggles have been frustrating, but what will they do to fix it? Our weekly Friday experience with Gee Scott is (another) wild ride with Seahawks observations and predictions.

The guys discuss the M's offensive woes over the last month and Salk reminds us all of his June 6th date when he will make a 'definitive' statement about the offense once the series vs the A's is over. Maura shares some observations from Seahawks practice and which WR seems to be making an early show with Geno followed by Brock's Blue 88. 

Salk opens the show with some thoughts on country music before finally getting into the Mariners results from last night and how rough the offense has been over the past month, yet somehow still winning games. We hear from Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald after yesterday's practice and revisit the conversation w/ former UW HC Chris Petersen.

We discuss Nick Baumgardner's comments on Mike Macdonald's attention to detail and discuss how different this team could look from Pete Carroll's more fast and loose approach. Then, we talk about why the Mariners bats get better lat in games and Justin and Salk bring you a frothy Ranked.

As we get a lot closer to June, Brock & Salk discuss how they can see the Mariners slowly turning from “patience” and “early” to something more immediate and actionable, but the Garver issue seems like the biggest. Brock outlines the two most competitive Seahawk position groups in Blue 88. 

An amazing pitchers duel leads to an amazing 10-inning walk-off win from JP Crawford as the M's win the first 3 of 4 games vs the Astros, but there was one very interesting decision Scott Servais made that has people stirring. We learn about the discipline that should be coming to the Seahawks by way of Mike Macdonald.

Shannon Drayer joins Brock and Salk to discuss why she thought last night was a really good win for the Mariners, the M's impressive home record so far, whether this team has more depth than recent seasons, why Servais is calling up some of the younger guys over veterans and if she can feel a difference in this version of the Astros compared to their last few years. Then, we discuss what's next for the Kraken this offseason after finding their new head coach. Plus, Brock is doing Ranked today and he is beyond pumped for it.  

Brock & Salk debate the offensive difficulties for the Mariners and how they've been able to navigate their issues but remaining in the W column - but is it a fair grade when offense is down around the entire league? Maura takes us Around the NFL and we hear from LPGA Lexi Thompson who announced her retirement from the sport.

The guys talk about the Mariners win but it still came with a lot of strikeouts - more than Brock is comfortable with - but ask an important question... is this type of winning acceptable? Maura asked Brock & Salk if the the Seahawks have done enough on the OL because there are a lot of 'if' questions to answer before Brock's Blue 88. 

The Mariners were scrappy, feisty, and annoying once again in their victory over the Astros but they were still able to get it done thanks to the old friend 'Chaos' coming back in more than one way. We hear from new Kraken HC Dan Bylsma and Seahawks HC Mike Macdonald before we revisit the conversation with ESPN's Jeff Passan. 

Reacting to Jeff Passan's commentary on how the baseball pendulum has swung so that pitcher's have the advantage and hitting is down across the board. Then, we hear about Brock and Justin's conrasting vacations and discuss what Julio getting going does for this M's lineup. Plus, Salk ranks the Mariners top 5 All Star candidates.

With Brock returning from vacation, Salk fills him in on what he saw at the Seahawks practice last week before being joined by Jeff Passan, Senior MLB Insider at ESPN to discuss the last week of Mariners baseball and how it portends to the future of the division. 

Brock & Salk love what they're seeing from Julio Rodriguez these past few games, but as much as Julio is their best hitter, does it ever seem to you like the offense is more affected by JP than anyone else? Jason Benetti joins the guys to share some memories and stories about his friend Bill Walton before Brock's Blue 88. 

The Mariners were able to secure a victory in game 1 vs the Astros thanks to a solid outing from Bryce Miller and a 3-run first inning, but the bats were quiet after that outburst. The sports world mourns the passing of Bill Walton and the Kraken are set to hire a new coach in Dan Bylsma (currently coaching the Coachella Firebirds) which will be announced today. Salk is joined by Elliotte Friedman (Sportsnet) to discuss the hire.

Shelby Harris gives his candid thoughts on the city of Seattle and his trade to the Seahawks, Roxy Bernstein gives a send-off for the Pac-12 network, Julio Rodriguez might be finding his groove this season, and Maura and Lefko do ranked.
