Tren Griffin is a Senior Director at Microsoft, doing strategy, competitive analysis and business development, with a focus on software platforms and business models. He creates and helps execute "go to market" plans, working closely with the engineering and marketing teams. Before that, he was a partner at Eagle River, a private equity firm controlled by Craig McCaw with investments in software, communications and other technology industries including Nextel, Nextel Partners and many start-up firms.
