Faith is living beyond the natural realm of sight. Jesus said not to make judgments based upon appearance. We are told, “The just shall live by faith”, not feelings. So what do we do with our feelings, reality and appearances of the way things look when we are tempted to base our decisions on what things look like and feel like? Doubt and double-mindedness prowl on every side as the Word of God admonishes us “to be strong in the power of His might”  “that we may be able to “stand against the wiles of the devil.” We stand and prevail through faith, standing on the word and promises of God, who is faithful to complete the work He has begun in us.  Reality and appearances and feelings and fear must be defeated by faith in the faithfulness of God and in His compassion for us to finish the work He has begun in us.  Check out God On Trial at the Life Recovery Store.
