In the medical model of healing, sin has been overlooked as a root cause of disease in both physical and mental illness. The Enemy uses our agreements with guilt, fear, unforgiveness, and even the sins of others to bring his sickness and pain upon us. God gets no glory from us being  tormented by the Enemy any more than we are happy when our children are sick. Confusion and condemnation around being sick and struggling with health issues make it difficult to stand on God’s promises for healing. Am I sick because of my sin? Am I guilty? Why doesn’t God hear my prayer? Healing is a  gift from God as is salvation. Knowing the truth about the love and goodness of God gives us the freedom to receive the gift of forgiveness and healing.
