Sinopsis

In this episode, we dive into one of the secondary problems that have arisen since the outbreak of COVID-19 which is the unexpected strain on internet bandwidth around the world that internet service providers are currently enduring due to everyone staying home. Of course, the biggest bandwidth hogs, video streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, HBONow, Youtube, etc. are getting more usage than ever and the increase in bandwidth usage is getting the FCC involved in tackling this problem. We review all of the data being released, dive into the conflict of entertainment based streaming versus work-based services like Zoom and Google meetings and what ISPs should do to help resolve the problem.
