On the college football edition of the GSMC Football Podcast host Tom Dougherty recaps the games from week one of the college football season. He talks Tua Tagovailoa, Virginia Tech, LSU, and many other topics. Notre Dame, LSU, Virginia Tech, and Auburn all had big wins over the weekend. Virginia Tech was especially impressive in their win at Florida State. New head coach Willie Taggart had his debut in Tallahassee spoiled, as did Chip Kelly with UCLA losing to Cincinnati. Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, Georgia, and Wisconsin were all able to get by lesser opponents. Kelly Bryant and Trevor Lawrence both shined for the Tigers against Furman.
