He is a Founder of Character Education Scotland, Programme Director of the Scientific and Medical Network, former President of the Swedenborg Society, instigator of Beyond the Brain, a founding member of the International Futures Forum, has co-ordinated the Mystics and Scientists conferences, he is the originator of the Inspiring Purpose Values Poster Programmes and Chair of the Galileo Commission. David is the author and editor of over a dozen books, including Survival? Death as Transition, Resonant Mind, The Spirit of Science, Thinking Beyond the Brain, The Protein Crunch and A New Renaissance. His most recent book is A Quest for Wisdom.
