Ian Johnson is a Pulitzer-Prize winning reporter in China for over 20 years, for various publications, including The New York Times and The New York Review of Books, and is author of a new book: The Souls of China: The Return of Religion After Mao. Dr. Richard Madsen is a Distinguished Professor of Sociology at UC San Diego.
