We have a special episode of 3rd & Wrong for our listeners! We are pleased to be joined by former pro-football scout for the New York Jets, Daniel Kelly. Daniel takes us through his inspirational journey from rabid football fan working a variety of 9-5 jobs to landing his dream job as a scout for the New York Jets in 1998. His book, Whatever It Takes details his full journey to the NFL, however, Daniel was kind enough to share lots of content from the book including letters he had received from NFL coaches and owners from Washington to Cleveland. We also chat the big trade between the New York Jets and the Seattle Seahawks that saw All-Pro Safety Jamal Adams get traded for two first-round picks (2021, 2022), a third-round pick (2021) and safety Bradley McDougald.
