A Study on the Book of Romans - a Treatise of the Gospel The Gospel of God “good news” - God will forgive sins, and deliver from the power of sin, and also the penalty of sin (death) and will give you the GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS on the basis of GRACE and through FAITH when you believe in JESUS CHRIST His son who died for your sins on the cross and rose again to give you eternal life. He wrote this Epistle to the Romans … as a LEGAL TREATISE of the DOCTRINE OF THE GOSPEL There is only ONE GOD (Ch 3:30) … God of the Jews and the God of the Gentiles All Humanity (the whole world) is GUILTY - Ch 3:19 / 23 The wages of sin is death (Ch 6:23) There is no respect of persons with God - (Ch 2:11) Salvation is offered by GRACE alone through FAITH alone (Ch 3:28) When a person believes GOD his FAITH is counted for RIGHTEOUSNESS (Ch 4:5) We are HELPLESS , ungodly ….BUT when we were in this condition CHRIST DIED FOR US , sinners , ungodly ….
