The operating system slows down or apps just don’t act like they’re supposed to. It’s frustrating, right? What do you do? Sure, you reboot the device. Often, that’s enough to set things right. Sometimes though, the problems don’t go away because somewhere along the line, some of the pieces of the operating system have gotten corrupted in some manner. Yeah, corrupted is the term commonly used by tech folks. When the OS is broken like this, the best course of action is to save your data and then wipe the hard drive, reformat and reinstall the OS to get a fresh start.
