Little did anyone that realize while the film industry was shut down during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Oscar-nominated director was shooting a secret supernatural, horror film in the hills of British Columbia.  Receiving a limited theatrical run--Blomkamp's fourth film came out to little fanfare. To make matters worse, critics and audiences alike absolutely hated the film. Will his failed latest two efforts dash any chance of him taking over any major franchises ala Alien and Robocop?
