How does one achieve a proper relationship with God? And having become right with God, how do I stay right? The Big Idea: You can work very hard to try and make something real with God or you can live trusting that it is already real and live your life in the power of it. It is a PRIDE issue. 2. It is a CONTROL issue. 3. It is a FEAR issue. What does Abraham teach us about being right with God? 1. You do not want a wage-based relationship with God. 2. The glory of God is that He justifies the wicked. 3. The quickest way to lose your way with God is religion. Hebrews 11:6 How should we view our path going forward?
