Trained as physician, Dr. Puchalski worked with Dr. Lynn and Dr. Teno on the SUPPORT Study. She then focused on spirituality to develop a working definiton for the field. She has worked with Dr. Ferrell to educate providers on the importance of spirituality in health care and individuals with serious illness.
