Unfortunately the master CD failed to finalize this Sunday, so no recording is available this week. The sermon was about standing on the wall together in the midst of adversity. Enemies were threatening to march on Jerusalem. Their protective wall was barely complete. To protect the city, Nehemiah assigned families in various places around the new wall. Fathers and sons, and possibly mothers and daughters were next to one another to stand and fight together for each other. Their love was greater than fear. Randy calls us to stand on the wall together. To fight for one another and walk through challenging times together. On this communion Sunday, we come to the front in need of a Savior...and in need of a brother or sister to stand with us.
