Ruach Breath Of Life

With most grateful thanks to the musicians: Sally Prittie, (piano) Corinne Frost (cello), Thomas Herzog, oboe, Nicola Gerrard (flute) and Catherine Muncey (viola). This is the joy and privilege that we have – that you put Your dwelling place among us, and this is where we as Your people belong. (cf Lev. 26:11-12) This is the time and this is the year when Your Spirit is drawing me into a treasured place within. Notwithstanding my many fears and limitations, You are teaching me to catch Your ear with simple prayers that rise to touch Your heart, and which part the heavens for You to come down. No matter that my flailing emotions are as volatile as a toddler’s windmill in a twisting gale; setting my sails spinning, and fears and tears overspilling as unpredictable gusts tug and pull my thoughts this way and that, for hidden in my heart Your word thrusts down deeper roots, steadying and sustaining weightier truths than my own distracting thoughts. So I am making room to welcome this living word;
