Georgetown University students are experiencing an outbreak of a bacteria causing gastrointestinal illness for dozens of students. The cause is unknown but comes on the heels of the CDC announcing a nationwide salmonella outbreak. Downtown Franklin Park is opening today after months of renovations. The Park will include a restaurant and pavilion, an expanded and restored fountain plaza, and a new children’s garden as well as ADA accessible sidewalks and enhanced lighting. The Washington Capitals and Caesars Entertainment Inc. announced a multi-year partnership agreement today that places the Caesars Sportsbook logo on Capitals home and third jerseys worn for games played at Capital One Arena beginning with the 2022-23 NHL season. The landmark announcement marks the first team announced agreement in the NHL’s Jersey Advertising Program.
