My spiritual journey (if you want to call it that) has unfolded in very predictable cycles and patterns. I start by getting way too involved in life, identifying very heavily with form, thus building up the ego and giving it strength. I have an eye opening experience, I let go, I enjoy the fruits of my clarity and live life as the true self not the false.
