Sinopsis

Dr. Karen Wyatt for 25 years cared for patients as a hospice doctor, in nursing homes and homeless shelters and she learnt spiritual lessons from them at the end of their lives. Dr. Wyatt was inspired to write her book, What Really Matters: 7 Lessons for Living from the Stories of the Dying, which offers the seven key lessons the dying taught her including; suffering (“embrace your difficulties”) and love (“let your heart be broken”) to forgiveness (“hold no resentments”) and impermanence (“face your fear”). Dr. Wyatt also hosts End-of-Life University Podcast, which features conversations with experts who work in all aspects of end-of-life care. She teaches that in order to live life fully we must each overcome our fear of death and embrace the difficulties that life brings us. This is her story and this is her Passion.
