Starting with what you have right now is a common theme of those who have built their financial foundation. I recently read the One Minute Millionaire where he lists what he calls "Aha"s. An "aha" is an epiphany of truth that applies to building your financial foundation. Where we may think the answer is "Give ME the MONEY FIRST"...it turns out, that what we have right now is sufficient to get started on our journey. There are three steps: 1. Apply Wealth Strategies I heard a talk recently on setting goals and what I liked about it is how it cascades down from top to bottom. After I thought through it I built a spreadsheet that connects 1 year goals to Quarterly goals, down to monthly goals and into weekly execution.
