SOAKED Jesus has promised that He would never leave us or forsake us. However, Christians talk about feeling the presence of God versus not feeling the presence of God. What does this mean? To further extend the idea, Jesus talks about a concept called “the anointing.” The word “anointing” refers to God’s Spirit and means He will “rub on or pour over” us with powerful presence.
