Vicki Abelson's Broadcast: The Road Taken

Discovered by Robert DeNiro at 17, Domenick Lombardozzi, has barely stopped to breathe. Currently, he has three projects in various stages of production. I met Dom at Phil Rosenthal’s movie night a couple of years ago when they were working on The Winklers. I'm not sure if it's our shared Bronx heritage, or if it's just Dom's way, but every time I see him it's like hanging with famiily. This conversation, a case in point. Best know as Herc in The Wire, Dom began his career handpicked by DeNiro to be Nicky Zero in A Bronx Tale. He straddles both sides of the law, criminal to enforcer… he’s bared his buns, literally, on Entourage, has appeared on NYPD Blue, Oz, Law & Order, 24, was a series regular on Breakout Kings, Boardwalk Empire, The Adventures of Mr. Clown, and can currently be seen on Rosewood and Sneaky Pete.
