There is a ‘Great Birthday Bake Off’ this week to celebrate Camden’s 50th birthday. Bake a cake, and you get entrance into Camden’s 50th birthday party at the Roundhouse; students from Haverstock School have an exhibition about Camden people on at the National Portrait Gallery; the Camden Guides will be leading an expedition to discovery the streets and places of Camden that have starred in major movies and TV productions; anyone with an interest in architecture should visit the Royal Institute of architects exhibition on brutalist playgrounds.
