The untimely deaths of Bothan Jean and Atatiana Jefferson, both in their 20’s & both killed by police officers, has sparked outrage in the investigation process when its one of their own. As black parents, we’ve felt that conversations about race and race relations occur far too young for the mind to even process….or so do adults think. How do we, as black adults, not only teach these lessons to our children, when we struggle with our own challenges with the justice system?
