Ariana and Mary Thompson Johns talk about Mom Shame, Mom Grace, teenagers, first born children, and so much more. For those who are triggered by religious conversation, we do talk about this from a Christian perspective, although I (Ariana) think that grace is available to you, even if it doesn't come the way of a faith tradition, so you can take what is good and leave the rest. Mary, aside from being a fountain of wisdom about parenting and life, also is an interior designer. Creating runs deep in her soul. At 64, she has had a rich, varied, and consistently creative life, while seeking out truth, health, grace, and wholeness. I (Ariana) love all aspects of how Mary moves through the world, and though we didn't cover it in the podcast, she is also an amazing designer, helping her clients bring out what they truly want in a home. I like to call her a design midwife. Her clients already have a deep love of color/design/functionality/beauty in their lives and she helps draw that out into reality. You can
