The disciples were hiding out of fear there would be more reprisals from the Romans or the Sanhedrin. While the world was occupied with the stuff of life, the realm of the spirit was in great conflict. Notice had been delivered three days earlier. The eternal judgment written against mankind had been nailed to a cross on a rocky crag outside the city walls of Jerusalem. What the Luciferian band thought would be a victory had in fact become a coupe de grace for the powers of hell. Early that Sunday morning, the Holy Spirit had invaded the realm of the dead.
