Chad Lyman is an accomplished and highly focused use of force expert and instructor with a unique set of education, personal work history, and skills. Mr. Lyman has acquired his personal experience and knowledge over the last 18 years through a combination of formal education, department training, working as a commissioned police officer, and teaching others. This unique mix training, education, and experience has made Mr. Lyman an authority on use of force curriculum and methodology both within his own department, with police departments across the U.S., and within the private sector. Mr. Lyman has personal experience using force when needed in the field, documenting the same in official reports, and articulating the proper use of force in sworn testimony as a Police Officer since 1998. Mr. Lyman has developed use of force curriculum and taught it since about 2010.
