Growing up I had the opportunity to be a part of a black gospel church. My father was stationed to this church and we were the only white family. This was the BEST experience ever. Not only did I understand the idea of being in the minority, but I understood what it was to learn about God deeper with such focus and energy. Pretty incredible. One treasured moment in my life!
