New "Kahnversations" Podcast with Actor  Elena Tovar! Elena Tovar recently played the role of ‘Isabel Pardo’, the White House Director of Social Innovation, in the Netflix series DESIGNATED SURVIVOR.  She recurred as ‘Iris Machado’ in the CW series DYNASTY.  Tovar earned a Daytime Emmy Award Nomination for Outstanding Special Guest Performer in a Drama Series for her portrayal of “Rosalie Martinez’ in GENERAL HOSPITAL.  She has also appeared on REVERIE, MODERN FAMILY, CSI: NY, CRIMINAL MINDS and NCIS: NEW ORLEANS.  Tovar is Mexican-American and began her career in New York theatre before moving to Los Angeles to pursue film and television.
