4 years after Doc and Marty struck lightning, igniting nostalgia for the 50's and excitement for the future--the duo travel back to the future in order to save Marty's kids and then unexpectedly back to the past to save their entire existence as they know it! Not unexpectedly, this highly anticipated sequel was a massive success with audiences, although critics were bit more tepid on it. Now that we've gone farther into the future than Doc and Marty ever had, does this cartoony, convoluted sequel live up as a worthy successor to the original or is it best left in the past?
