It says in Romans 6:1-3 that we are baptised into Christ's death. Jesus died to get rid of the 'flesh', and He rose again to triumph over the devil, defeat the last enemy, death, and gave us the victory! When you are baptised in water, you are dead! I'm a dead man! When I asked to be baptised in water as a 12 year old boy, I was buried with Christ! And when I came out of the water, I was a newborn baby! I'm in Christ! This is what the Word of God says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, if we are in Christ, we are a new creation! The old things are gone! Gone forever!
