Joanna Sweatt has many titles including Marine Corps veteran, mom, wife and advocate for Veteran's causes. In this episode Joanna shares her experiences of transitioning into the Marine Corps as a young 18 year old recruit and teenage mom and then again, transitioning back into civilian life and finding her voice after a tenured career in the Corps. Joanna's story is one of triumph and transformation. Though her life has included tremendous challenges, including surviving sexual assault while serving in the Marine Corps, she has always found a way to forge forward. Joanna is a passionate leader who has now dedicated her life to fighting for Veteran's causes and creating opportunities to connect veterans within their communities.
