I often hear Christians using the expletive, “My word!” . The way I understand it is that this is a replacement for, “My God!”, or “Jesus!”. Why is this okay to say—is not the Christian’s Word, God? and more exactly ,Jesus? If one is a blasphemy, are they not all, at least in appropriate?
