Pastor John Vo // Sunday, April 25, 2021 The basics of the doctrine of Scripture: Scripture is authoritative – as Wayne Grudem states, “The authority of Scripture means that all the words in Scripture are God’s words in such a way that to disbelieve or disobey any word of Scripture is to disbelieve or disobey God.” Scripture is inerrant – Scripture is without error and possess no contradiction. Everything that Scripture says is truth, since God never lies and is completely trustworthy. Scripture is sufficient – Everything we need to live this life for the glory of God is found in Scripture.
