For us here at JW, 2017 was the year that we developed a pavlovian auto-anxiety response to the New York Time push news alert. Is it too much to ask to not use the same system to notify me that North Korea has launched a missile test with the same one that tells me their annual gift guide is released? While 2017 has seen its fair share of bullshit to say the least, there were some pretty amazing things happening as well - not to mention the fact that the advertising and design worlds continued to somehow exist and stay relevant, and not get decimated by our new AI overlords. So to help celebrate the year that was, and what is to come, we thought we’d check in with each other to go over everything from our favourite projects and pop culture obsessions here at JW, all the way to our predictions for the new year and narkiest anonymous comments.
